The Best Homemade Shaving Cream

I absolutely love this homemade shaving cream.  It is designed for men but I love using it for my legs.  Since this is an oil based recipe it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup Shea Butter
1/3 cup Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Almond Oil with Vitamin E
10 drops Rosemary Oil
5 drops Peppermint Oil

Steps:
1.  Combine Shea Butter and Coconut oil in saucepan over low heat.  Heat until completely melted.
2.  Remove from heat and stir in Almond Oil, Rosemary Oil, and Peppermint Oil.
3.  Chill in refrigerator until completely solid (will appear white).
4.  Once solid whip with a mixer until fluffy (takes about 5 minutes)
5.  Spoon into jar.

Tips:
For Men - Apply a thin layer to face.  Will appear oily.  Be sure to clean razor in between strokes to avoid build up.  When finished soak razor for a few seconds to remove excess.  No need to cleanse face afterwards, oil will nourish skin.

For Women - Apply a thin layer to legs.  Shave as usual, rinse in between strokes to avoid build up.  Rinse excess from legs when finished.  Towel dry.

I purchased all of my products from whole foods.  They seemed to have the greatest selection of all natural products and very reasonable prices.  Feel free to substitute other essential oils, such as Lavender, Cedarwood, Sage, and Jasmine.
